I love technology, but I didn’t grow up speaking the language of it. I learned to type on a typewriter that didn’t require power and rang a bell when I got to the end of the line, and the bell was to remind me to move the apparatus back to the beginning of the paper. If that sounds familiar to you, and if all this new gadgetry has your head in a swim, let me assure you that you can make sense of it all. I’ll unpack it all for you and show you how this stuff works. I’ll give you tools that will impress your kids–or your grandkids. I’ll help you stay safe and keep your machines clean and running like they should.

Technology is a part of our reality. It’s all around us, in nearly everything we see and hear and use. It mocks us and laughs at us and makes us feel very stupid. Take heart–it’s all just a bunch of electricity running through boxes. It as long as the boxes are sound, technology must respond to your command. There is no reason to let a box of hardware intimidate you if you know something about it.

Stroll around the site and see what you find. Everything here was suggested by either experience (having answered a question several times in my day jobs) or by friends and family wanting to know something. Let me know what you would like to see, what burning questions you have. My goal is to help you love technology too–YOUR technology.
